This deck works really well for holding a ton of cards. I would strongly suggest not spending money on anything until you've been able to use Lydia for the home ability. You should have enough starting GR to afford most goods or deeds and you should have a very adequate supply of shootout actions and resolutions. I took this deck to Gencon 2016 and though it didn't place, it did pretty well for itself.

Looking at the draw structure, your short of a straight flush without jokers, but trying for a 4 of a kind looks very unlikely from what I see. 4's are weak in diamonds, 5's are nonexistent in spades. Sixes being two of in spade and diamonds. It feels like your often going to struggle to find full houses at best. How has it fared for you in play?

It's faired surprisingly well, actually. Horses are fairly easy to come by and the card cycling really helps to get Calling the Cavalry out for an added boost. I know the draw structure is a little unusual, but Strength of the Ancestors shines here in helping to create decent sized studs to increase your chances at drawing good shooting hands. Has it failed before? Sure. But I was confident enough in its abilities to bring it to Gencon where it held its own.
