First attempt at a Morgan deck. I am trying to go for a money maker deck with enough deeds and dudes to defend my claims.

As always would appreciate advice on how to improve the deck.

I will be play testing this version tonight.

Look forward to hearing how testing went! :)

Have you considered Make the Smart Choice? It works well with your home. Similarly, Clementine Lepp can be good with the home too, albeit you'd need to add some saloon deeds. She can safely use the Morgan Cattle Co. discount: her trait prevents her from being called out at the saloon even if booted.

With the inclusion of the (excellent) Disgenuine Currency Press, is it worth including a starting Mad Scientist? William Specks or Diego Linares can both serve well in this role. :)

So I ended up playing against another slide deck that wiped the floor with me.

Didn't have a chance to play Disgenuine Currency Press at all. But that was because of a bad shuffle. All four ended up in the bottom 1/4 of my deck.

It performed well enough, getting deeds and dudes out, that I think a few tweeks and it will be a solid contender at a tournament I'm going to this weekend.

I don't see the need for Fresh Horses here. The deck isn't built to shoot, and both horses' abilities are only useful if you're getting into shootouts. If you're going for a dudes and deeds or landslide approach, perhaps Rumors would be more helpful instead?

I think @Harlath's suggestion of starting a Mad Scientist for early currency press inventin' is a good one. I'd also consider swapping out some of the low value deeds that fail your inventin' pulls for higher value ones, and ditching the Memorial Ranch to make room. Without any gadget horses or improvements in the deck I don't think the ranch does enough here to justify a starting spot.

I always like to have at least one Shotgun in decks like this, to scare low value dudes off your deeds (or ace them if you catch them booted). It's also effective at dealing with Allie Hensman who can be a nightmare for you otherwise.
