I played this at the Huddersfield tournament, 31 Jan, and won two and lost two, I think I ended up fifth out of ten.

First round against Morgan: I got the Hustings built very early just like I wanted to, and I think I had Kyle, Irving and Olivia all running scared of my Shotgun. I wore down my opponent's influence, built up Allie's control points, and at the end I got to build the 1st Baptist Church and by Establishin' Who's in Charge of the Hustings clinched the game. This was pretty much how I had planned the deck would work. A long game that nearly went the other way earlier though!

Second round loss against Sloane no stud: Well played game where my shooters got lured into one of my opponent's deeds and he got me all out of position and then pounced. Opponent eventually placed 2nd.

Third round loss against Law Doge: I screwed this one up straight away. The Law Dogs got out into the town square while I was still equipping at home and I went straight out to get them forgetting I only had two influence to start and promptly lost both. Opponent won the tournament. This game was over so quickly we had a friendly between rounds and I think I was about to win when we had to stop - but that might not have been the case!

Fourth round win against Sloane hucksters: I seem to remember my opponent was piling Blood Curses up on Jonah Essex and I still managed to pull a five of a kind - and then he got a lousy hand and it was all over first round. We had a second game after, similar result with different hexes, so I might be muddling things up though.

All in all - the Shotguns and Six-shooters worked really well - I don't think I actually got to use one, opponents just backed away. Clementine propping up a bar sipping from a Whiskey Flask is good too. I never seemed to have the cards I needed all the same though! Could really have done with a few more dudes in my hands at the right times as getting enough influence to stay in the game was my main problem.

Good day with fun decks and nice players!

So, based on how the deck did, are there any changes you would make to it? Or more just a matter of practice and tactics performed with it?

The dudes & the starters need a bit of a rethink, which I haven't had yet. Happy to keep the rest of it though, most of my problems were operator error rather than with the deck.
