Although I'm very much known as a Sloane player, recently I fancied a break so I moved onto 108 shooters after a brief stint in the 4th Ring - and whilst LH shooters are nothing new (to 108 or Doomtown in general) this is my take on it.
Lighting the Fuse was a last minute trade for a Pistol Whip, as was Inner Struggle for an Establishin' who's in charge. These both proved significant as I don't think I could have won the final without them.
The Sheriff event itself was by no means easy for this deck, and it found itself cornered more than once - I was easily out-chessed and out-classed by Dez Lambert's Stables in the swiss, and may have lost the game to him in the final had I not lucked out pulling 2 Jokers during a Bottom Dealin' I had used on him in the final shootout.
I also struggled against Scott Wisely's Den of Thieves, where it looked like I was pretty much done for by his stronger shooting position - however a couple of extremely unlucky shootout hands (and maybe a Bottom Dealin'?) for Scott turned the tide.
Starting line-up (perhaps obviously) loses dudes with Rico once you have seen what you require in cash and dudes. I won't go into tactical detail as I think most know what this type of deck tries to achieve by now, although happy to answer questions.
Had a very enjoyable tournament - thank you to all involved.

Good question - the theory (aside from being another cheap 3 bullets) was to use him as another way to get my own Allie out of the town square when booted and/or dispense of any minor nuisances - but I'm yet to see his real worth. Being off value he may go in my next build. |
How does The Grey Man factor into this build?
