The idea is to isolate and boot dudes to leave wanted dudes helpless to the bounty hunters. Gang Yi is in to help protect Hucksters by swapping with them. Tommy is the best no upkeep stud available and given the style of the deck his ability comes into play when they either play a weaker hand or cheat in a shootout as the structure reliable pulls FH off a 7 stud. Can struggle a bit with economy if it gets a couple poor hands early, but I think I'm onto something here. Definitely needs more testing and any suggestions welcome.

Interesting. You basically trade Mongwau + cycling for Tommy and Bounty Hunters + Too Much Attention. Might be well worth it.

The only problem that I see is that you don't have a 2-stud early on to defend yourself against Kidnappin'. Bounty Hunters and Steven are good when you're on the offensive, but if they force a shootout first click in the morning, you're gonna be in trouble, no?

Definitely a concern. Was running a Ramiro start instead and while it felt more comfortable defensively it was sketchier financially. Might find it worth the Ramiro start after more playtests.

My personal opinion is that it is much easier to defend against frontal assault playing as Law Dogs, all thanks to the awesome power of Tommy Harden. If you take a couple Unprepared and some more hand rank manupulation, I think you could start Mendoza + Travis (or Wendy) instead of one of your hucksters. Yes, it's risky, but so is starting without proper protection.

Actually, Mendoza might not be a good idea because he's too vulnerable to Shotgun. Morty, Wendy or Abram would be better choises, I think.
