3/7/8 Dogs - Springfield, VA Sheriff Event Winner 1 0 1

Won a 7 person tournament with a modern version of my old Law Dogs deck that won me a Deputy tournament, found here: http://dtdb.co/en/decklist/736/aggressive-law-dog-shooting-small-deputy-tournament-winner

The basic premise is the same - play aggressively, be willing to make trades, and don't leave them room to breathe. In the tournament I played against Oddities of Nature, 4R Core Control (using Valeria) and a mirror match vs an identical Law Dog deck (my friend and I were playing the same thing, with one or two small variations).

The Jail was very helpful, especially in Game 2. It gave me the control points I needed to win. Andrew Burton has also been awesome at giving me worthwhile (read: high influence) targets to hit with Bounty Hunter. The only off value cards are the 4 Coachwhips, which were moderately helpful and mostly just stay in the deck to hurt other aggressive shooters who are likely to cheat if they get past Tommy. The off value only really caused a problem once the entire day and it won me lowball a few times.

I tried a few variations of this deck before settling back into something more comfortable and deciding I like 3/7/8 Core LD the best. I tried 3/7/8 in Sloane, 6/7/8 in LD, 3/4/7 in Sloane, and a lot of other small tweaks.

I'm considering changing two of the Coachwhips into Unprepared, to help against spell heavy match-ups, and maybe trying to remove Lucy for Jake to save some money (though that makes it really hard to use the LD ability early.)
