Example deck for my review of The Light Shineth. Untested.

Landslide deck that makes 4-6 undeniable income per turn.

I already hate it.

P.S. Note that it has 4 gr at the start, not 2 - each Grifter costs 1 gr less due to the Den's trait.

You know you can only have one grifter in your starting posse, right?

@corrinmana check Den of Thieves.

This looks like a major pain in the ass... You actually start with 4GR, correct? Because of Den of Thieves' ability?

Also, can you use both Gina and Travis? Redraw your whole hand, then discard one to draw two? Or do you just get the choice between the two?

@PaxCeciliathat's right, 4 gr at the start. And I can use both Grifters.

Interesting idea, but how do you stay in the game long enough to win with only 2 influence? You can get 1 influence a turn during lowball with the home ability using makaio to transfer the bounty from a grifter to Fred, but Fred isn't likely to be engaging in shootouts at your opponents home so 1 influence a turn is about all you can reliably expect. Hats and Evidence will help if you draw them, if you don't you might be out of the game turn 1.

@tbowers13with two Grifter abilities you're likely to have a dude on turn 1 that you can play. Plus, Clementine gains an additional +1 influence at a saloon (there are 5 saloons in the deck).

I'm not good at building Landslide decks, surely there are tweaks to be made, but the basic idea is that Den of Thieves might be good for this kind of decks.

With this deck I would think that Travis Moone is a bad pick. even though you look the upkeep the The Fixer would be better and it would also make a 7 card opening hand. Also that and I would drop Lepp from the starting posse, you will have the ability to drop her in on turn one if need be but it give you more starting GR for both a deed and a dude. But that is just my thoughts on the deck

@MadaliceI assume you mean start The Fixer and discard him without playing his upkeep? An extra card in nice, but I need a body to wear a Fancy New Hat and carry Monte Bank.

Clementine Lepp is a potential 2 influence and some more undeniable income. She's very good in Slide decks. The best I could do with extra 3 gr would be to by Clem on the first turn :)

Monte Bank can go on anyone and while Lepp is a fantastic car in Slide, just from this build being able to get a better drop out of deck seems better to me. Also with her extra and then the 2 from your starting income with you losing the low ball, means you have 9 ghost rock to drop deeds and dudes. Mean a bard's build and loan a dude with 2 influence and a second deed with little to no effort on your part. But that could also come down to play style as well.

Sorry it gives you 10 GR on turn one, drop a for cost dude bards build and loan and a 5 cost or lower deed, giving you the same 4 influence and 3 control.

@Madalicewhat would you rather play instead of Clem? More deeds? With only 3 influence left, you could just lose on turn 1.

I am not saying dont play it, I would just slide her in he deck.
