You're not here to fight. Just get your deeds on table, avoid shootouts as best as you can and just win by having too many deeds and the opponents not enough dudes to control them.
I'm considering changing 2 deeds to 2 dudes, are reinforcements may sometimes be scarce, especially against an aggressive deck.
Starting Posse :
Clementine Lepp
Irving Patterson
Prof. Eustace True
Travis Moone
It provides a good chunk of early influence so that your opponent can't rush you, while still leaving you with enough ghost rock to buy a couple of deeds on turn 1. Prof Eustache is just to provide a starting Mad Scientist. Jon Longstride used to be in the starting dudes, but I sometimes ended up with the Force Field in hand but no one to invent it.Still, it mught be something you can try.
Pinto + Force Field is the mid/late game defense : equip your dude with both, and ride to the defense of whomever is being attacked. Chances are, with your forces spread thin across the board, your opponent will have to do the same and you will often have only one opposing dude to deal with : getting a draw will work in your favour.

If you're not planning to fight, why include Pintos? |
