With the new home from Dirty Deeds spoiled, I tinkered with this idea. Still in the 'alpha test" stage, the point is to put down clown carriages on the "riders" (Jen, Lane, Jarret) to move in or summon The Wretched into the posse.

What I'm looking for now is refinement, to move into the "beta test" stage.

Key Notes:

  1. MCC is not the correct home. The correct home will be Morgan Stables to discount the mechanical horse down to 0, and the carriages down to 1
  2. Draw Structure is based on 9's and Jacks.
  3. Yes, I know it looks super janky, and that's why I need your constructive criticism to reduce the jank.

You unfortunately can't use Clown Carriage to play The Wretched, but it would be able to bring them in to the posse without booting.

What's the restriction?

Wait, never mind I see it now. The Wretched HAS to be INVENTED. No other effects can bring him into play.

You can use Clown Carriage to play The Wretched just fine, but you need an unbooted mad scientist somewhere in a location you control (not necessarily in [the location of] the shootout).

"Has to be invented" means that when you play this dude, you need to boot an unbooted mad scientist in a location you control and pass the skill check.

I stand corrected, I thought I remembered the ruling being exactly the opposite, not sure where I got that idea from.

Who serves as a sacrifice for The Wretched? I'll guess Travis is the first under the knife, followed by Kyle. I'd swap one of Remy or Warren for Tyxarglenak - relatively cheap 2-stud abomination, so can be used with the Clown Carriage without the need to ace and invent, and also won't be losing you any influence when you decide it's time for an upgrade.

Once Travis has served his purpose, he can be the first to go. Kyle is my first choice, as I have very few ranches in the deck. Plus Kyle very well could invent a Wretched on his own, and sacrifice himself to pay for the cost.

And of course I forgot Tyx. He was part of my original concept I cooked up while lying sleepless in bed with seven dtdb.co tabs open on my phone's browser, researching stuff for this deck.
