Fun deck idea I came up with about a year , going back to Double Dealin'. Just never got around to uploading it.

The initial idea revolved around making use of the Holy Ground keyword and utilizing vanilla Abram and his built in job. Needless to say that aspect of the deck never really took off, but it's there to try out nonetheless.

Deck evolved into an interesting 4 value draw structure with 2s, 3s, 8s, and 10s. 2 and 8 being your primary value (if memory serves). This deck relies heavily on cheatin' punishment but shoots pretty decent in its own right (consistent legal full house).

You want a conservative start with regards to your influence dudes. Abram usually comes out when he's got his dog and peacemaker. Philip with a concealed handgun and Burton with a shotgun are pretty standard early plays as well. Lucy will usually add bounties as the last play of the day.

Make sure to make money with deeds (out of town deeds especially) and bounties and be sure to pace your early buying, that 2 upkeep can really paint you into a corner. Try to hold onto cheap dudes and play them as soon as you can sustain their upkeep.

Let me know if this thing is still viable in the current meta.

Cheers!

With careful play it could do okay, but the draw structure seems very loose which could hurt you against strong legal shooters and early aggro decks that hit you before you've got your anti-cheatin' stuff in place and off-values in play. Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1) seems like a good fit for this style of deck for another mid/late game threat.

As for your initial idea, I recently came up with an as yet untested deck which starts Abram and uses some splashed-in shamans to set up Fire of Nanahbozho for holy grounds where I want 'em to get more use out of Abram's job. It might be worth playing around with for a fun deck.
