Went 3-3 at GenCon. Needs a little more offense somewhere.

I did, including my first two without Jokers! Exactly so – I had Bounty Hunter in a previous version of this deck instead of the Reserves. The problem, now as then, is that there's no way to get decks that don't care what I do to get bounties. The two ways I have are the home ability and Private deeds; but a slide deck probably won't be cheatin' in lowball, and probably won't be defending my Job. |

Indeed - slide are very unlikely to cheat in lowball and that's where you need the bounty hunters most! The original Law Dogs home might help here (plus it comes with an extra GR), albeit throwing out bounties takes time. Or real world time waiting for Stewart Davidson. Bravo on managing several DMH, particularly natural versions. Always a sickener for you opponent. |
Well done on going 3-3 in a strong field! :)
Does "a little more offense" refer to jobs/forced callouts like Bounty Hunter? It might be a good fit on 8C, particularly once Stewart Davidson is released to reliably make a dude wanted? I sometimes run by cheatin' punishment off value (to give a wider choice) and that frees up 8s for bounty hunting. Sorry if I've misunderstood here.
Hope you managed a few DMH during the day!
