This deck uses Silver Pheasant's Bounty and Spirit Trail to make sure you're almost always winning the economy game by winning on movement and money.

If your opponent tries to fight you, you have really strong shootouts by merit of Doc holliday, who is an absolute monster when combined with Eva Bright Eyes, and the wrathful spiders. Spiders don't look like much, but -1 bullets is pretty useful, and the sidekick trait means that ties go in your favor for the most part, and those two things combined make this deck pretty lethal.

Might swap 8's for J's or something. "It's not what you know..." is really the only cheatin' resolution I need most of the time, and it'd be nice to have another shootout action. Unprepared is ridiculous.

Not sure between Matilda and Kabeda. The one upkeep probably isn't that bad, though, and this deck usually does well by pairing up shamans with studs, so having her roll with Francisco to run the job while Eva sticks with Enapay would be nice.

If you do go for a change, perhaps swap in Mazatl to your starting posse instead of Kabeda? Having 2 upkeep from the start of the game really slows many decks down. With a tight, high-value deck like this you can't rely on lowball wins to offset that either.

The problem with Mazatl is that he's a shaman 0, which is kind of a waste with Doc.

If I kept the 8's, I would definitely switch to kabeda, since it's 4 starting wealth alongside silver pheasant's bounty, which itself has good synergy with her.

If I decide to go higher values (probably 10/q/k), I would likely just stick with matilda. Might even go to 10/q/j and use Mischievous coyote, as much as I'm prejudiced against that card.

It would be interesting to see how the Kabeda/Silver Pheasant works out. Just out of curiosity, what don't you like about Mischievous Coyote?

My issue with coyote is that it's almost exactly the same as pearl handled revolver, in terms of how it affects your bullets. The only differences being value, the fact it's a sidekick (good), and the fact you need dudes of both bullet types in your shootouts (really bad).

That might just be something I deal with, though. I double up my dudes for doc anyways, so it's not that weird.

Hello!

Played this deck this weekend. Gotta add that Wrathful Spider's booting effect was difficult to deal with too. As was Nathaniel Tuwikaa parked at my house.

Consider adding Chief Stephen Seven-Eagles to close games out? Those 12 totems you got there are more than sufficient.

Lastly: Why no Three-Eyed Hawk?

Three-eyed hawk is expensive with a lot of upkeep. When building the deck, I wasn't sure how much money I'd have access to, and I figured that most spiders would get played from the discard with francisco anyways.

But 3-stud Shaman is really good with Doc, and having the option to ace spiders is really good. I'm probably gonna take out Doris for her.

-1 Doris, -1 Spider

+1 Hawk, +1 Chief Seven-eagles, maybe replace 1 nicodemus with something? IDK, I've kinda lost interest with this deck for the time being, focusing on building house of many faiths.

I had a great time this weekend, and I'm hoping I didn't accidentally forget the -2 stud penalty in some pivotal shootout after you sent a shaman home with Tremane or something.
