Because The Treadmill is a boring place to be.


The idea; spurned on by the discussion in fan cards of the Discord, talking about a recharging battery got me thinking about the similarities with Articulating Reload Manager, and wanting to make something around it.

Obvious idea; Shotgun. Obvious problem with that idea; invent values.

We solve that problem by using EN's stronger MS skill with Roe and Seamus. Thanks to Roe, Seamus and Arnold pass every test in this deck, including if a shotgun was pulled. This lets us run 3 shotguns comfortably.

Additionally, Seamus passes ARM naturally down as low as 7, so that lets us reach and get the strong shooting value as a primary value.

So we have Shotgun and ARM online. The next step is maximizing value on that Shotgun. To do that, we're going to double-dip on Seamus, and add in POST-A-TRON and Hydropunchers. Hydropuncher Post Shotgun is 5 bullets on its own. Seamus brings it to 7. Very scary shotgun range.

Because we're relying on Seamus though, we're looking at club light. To realize this, using an extended 6-J SF structure, with 16x on 7. This lets us get both See-Through Specs and Comin' Up Roses for serious SF consistency (STS is another fail that makes Roe's presence valuable).

While the primary idea for ARM was Shotgun, it should be noted that it also works well with a lot of the rest of our list (Hydro, Devil's Six, Yagn, Flamethrower).

For the last few cards, I mustered together a secondary value on 9s. This was primarily for the deeds (because we have so much structure on hearts, having both hunters and epidemic as CP threats to shore up our low deeds is worthwhile, and Marge fuels FT and Mech Horse), but also gave Trick-Shooting for some more shotgun range (only 2x to not poke the experimental gods too much), and some solid dudes.

A note on the deficiencies:

  • 1 Income is obviously bad, but we are hoping to use POST-A-TRON to augment, and start ourselves with 4 rock and decent lowball odds to hopefully get some gadgets online R1/R2 to realize that.
  • Influence is lumped into 3 dudes. There's not much to be done here. You could run NV vs. Post, but then economic troubles. Aunt Lou would also work, but lower shotgun potential (due to no Seamus Hydro combo).
