Won an 8 person tournament going undefeated with this list here in San Diego, CA.

Super fun deck to play and been tweaking it for a couple of weeks now.

Strategy is to march into town square and camp while building up influence and using home to gain GR. Meanwhile at home you stack spells on Valeria. When possible boot out opposing dudes and go into shootouts with your pags (nickname peggy). You don't really care if you lose or win, if you win great, but if you lose you hopefully pulled out cheatin' resolutions and other shootout actions. On top of that if you have TYWM you kamikaze and removed someone of importance. To help with TYWM you have peggy, NaN, and BC.

Once your boot hill fills up you bring all of them back with Hawley. I have been told it is a really frustrating deck to play against. :)

As for specific card interactions and card choices: -Junior gets Soul Cage -Bobo is a 4 stud if Hawley is in play -Horace helps you cycle and get Hawley out of boot hill -Ghostly Gun brought into a shootout with Soul Cage is devastating as you can use his resolution -EDS for turtling decks -FNH is for your peggy if you need to squat on a deed

Over all the deck is pretty strong and fun but it is weak to slide decks. I would up the jobs if your meta has annoying slide players.

As for changes I am seriously considering going up to 4 Hawley's. I also have a version of this deck that replaces 8's with 10's which gives me Buried treasure and Undertaker combo. In that version I run a couple no turning backs. If someone is interested I can link a list as well.

As for the games,

Round 1 vs Tattoo abomination, I basically sacrificed peggy multiple times losing shootouts until I exhausted his hand of hex slingin then dropped Hawley (free since we both have a total of 9 or more abominations) and replenished my board. Eventually he ran out of steam and I was squatting on all his deeds while playing my own and booting his guys with Pmarks.

Round 2 vs Worldly Desire raining men/dead man's hand. I was able to lock down badger early on and used arnold to squat on jackson's strike out of town deed to choke. Then slowly built an abomination army in town by chipping away guys and eventually replenish with Hawley.

Round 3 and final round against Morgan Gadgets. Arnold got kidnapped turn 1 and lost a peggy in town square. I thought I was in trouble but was able to build up the board again (not hard with 20 spades in the deck) and eventually Hawley showed up and brought back a even more clowns. At this point Soul Cages and floating a ton of money it was just too much.

If you decide to try it you will have a blast! Enjoy!

I must admit I'm a little surprised, amazed but also thrilled that you managed to win with this deck. I'm still at a total loss as to how I wanna build a good dudes n' deeds Abomination deck..

Going to TS with only brass bullets? How did you not lose a lot in shootouts? How often did Arnold save you? I would like to see the other list with 10s, do you include Jael's Guile? Or run a single soul blast that you bury and get in with Ivor? So much cool stuff to do with Ivor, that I can't decide ;)

@Doowa You don't need to win shootouts since this deck has TYWM. 1 brass is usually enough as the structure is strong. often times you get kkqqx and replacing x makes fullhouse. I used arnold alot! Extra nice when I got to use TYWM as well.

Have you listed the other deck list? I would like to see it.

I like the idea of this deck so I'm certainly going to give it a try.

I did wonder why the 3x Pagliaccio and not perhaps 2xpeggy with 1x The Brute. He's same cost, same bullets and higher value. I can understand wanting the Shootout ability of the peggy but I like The Brute's ability to soak casualties when your important people are fighting. Plus a repeatedly soul caged brute is bound to get annoying eventually

@Tallwakiedude peggy is important because of Takin' Ya With Me that is why Nightmare at Noon is in the deck also. You walk into a lot of shootouts with just 1 peggy at a time. Also peggy is easier to raise from the dead than the brute being only 2 of spades. Helps against DMH and 108 decks that have a lot of A's and 2's. I use to start 2 peggy and 1 brute but found brute wasn't useful enough.

@Doowa and @rayray0692 here is the list,
dtdb.co I am still working on this list. It is still not quite working out the way I want it to. I have been adjusting the starting posse around quite a bit. Some ideas came from mplain's version but I had already built mine and did some research on dtdb only to see he had a variation as well so mine did not originate from his.

@rhythmThe value of the dude is irrelevant for rezzing with both Soul Cage and Ivor Hawley (Exp.1). The cage is based on cost and Ivor reduces the cost. Brute costs the same as peggy. However I can understand the usefulness of dropping their bullets to enable Takin' Ya With Me. I'll certainly be trying it both ways.
