Build often, make an economy, squat opposing deeds when equipped with Mustang, don't be afraid to shoot when your hand permits, and build more.

Let me know if any of you have any questions/concerns.

This deck is really aggressive for a Dudes & Deeds archetype - a starting stud and a lot of shootout actions, even Shotgun. Do you actively initiate shootouts, or do you have all that just to defend against Kidnappin' and the like?

I'm a little surpirsed by your choise of deeds. I think that Yan Li's Tailoring is one of the best deeds for this kind of deck, as it's synergic with the Morgan outfit and it helps you wrestle control for the deeds from the opponent.

At the same time I never really liked the 1st Baptist Church, because playing it more often than not results in me losing the game immediately. It requires good timing, like outmaneuvering your opponent into booting all of his guys, and then topping your control over his influence by playing this deed. But that would probably require that you keep it in hand for several turns. At least that's been my experience with it so far.

And the casinos - I understand that Clementine is good, but isn't 2x Charlie's and 2x Pearly's ususally enough?

Great questions as usual mplain. The aggressive nature of the deck should best be seen as a way to defend your deeds and weaker dudes. However, if the deck throws all your shootout actions at you and you see an opportunity by all means take it. This deck is flush with Full Houses and 4/5 of a Kind.

Your concern of 1st Baptist is noted, I do find myself holding onto it and playing it for wins more often than not. Maybe I should just run 2 Yan Li's and see how that works for me, though.

The reason for the additional Casino's is really for the additional production and Ctrl points as well as making use of Outfit ability free of most repercussions for having a booted dude at a deed. Trying to stay true the the D&D concept (which I agree with you by the way, this is not a full on D&D deck), Clem will have two influence while at a saloon then with the outfit ability she'll be able to bring in another saloon at a 2 gr discount and be booted at a location that she can't be called out at. Really can't get this effect when your only running two separate saloons rather than 4.

Man, that's... pretty smart actually! Now that I see it this way, I suddenly want to run Clementine and four different saloons in every one of my Morgan decks! Thanks for the insight!
