Hello guys,

I am Khudzlin's friend and only real life Doomtown pardner (in Paris). This is my current favorite deck to play against his Rabbit Fu Drunken Masters deck.

Pasting across my thoughts from discord to create an easier to access permanent record!

Thanks for sharing the deck. I'll put my "tournament play" hat on for this

  • my main concern here would be the lack of ways to force a game against a defensive deck, beyond Epidemic laboratory (potentially too slow to pressure slide's influence mountain)
  • Judge Harry Exp might be worth including, or some aggro jobs?
  • Only two cheatin' punishment actions might be rough against other shooters? Goods and Tommy help mitigate this
  • Admittedly, we know it is tested against a strong player with a good deck, so I'm just trying to think through how it would do against other decks/styles

This deck must be horrible against Slide. Judge Harry was removed when I switched to Arsenal from basic home because no way to add bounty without a shoot out being started (using Yaple). I think it would be worth it to switch to Fort 51 or basic home for tournament play (with judge Harry back in)

Good shout, they both give that sweet 19GR and help set aggro jobs (if you can find room for the relevant actions/dudes)

The Arsenal IS forced conflict!

True, good point. My frustration with The Arsenal is it is oftent least effective against against turtle decks (e.g. slide) that don't mind having their dudes booted at home and you can't get after the booted dudes without making them wanted. :(

That said "The Arsenal IS forced conflict" should clearly be a slogan on a future Pinebox t-shirt.

That's what Culpability Scientizer is for ;)

Good point back.

Perhaps Stewart Davidson in the starting posse?

Yes, Davidson is a good idea, maybe instead of Hattie (but then winrate would drop against Rabbit Kung Fu)

Think it maybe becomes a meta call? If you’re expecting shooting decks that will fight you then go with Hattie DeLorre, if you’re expecting to face lots of slide/defensive then Stewart Davidson. Obviously doomtown gives you the flexibility to change your starting posse from match to match but Stewart’s low value risks the pulls here. :)

Good point on value. Consider Framed then as you already have a side splash of nines?

As I mentioned last week in Discord, I made a similar deck and that was what I played yesterday at the Denver badge event. Tommy and The Arsenal make extra room for lots more shootout actions that would normally go for targeted removal and cheatin resolutions.

It's mostly reliable, and very fun for sure. I'll have my list posted soon.

I for one welcome the new The Arsenal meta. ;) New MS dudes for LD shaking things up and revitalising an old home is great. Congratulations on your Denver success @Prodigy and look forward to seeing your similar deck.
