Need a baseline for every faction? Look no further. This is the Law Dogs portion of the deck tech series I will do until I get bored! Use miracles to fight forever! Make your opponent cautious to interact with you buy showing them exactly what you are going to do! Sit around in town square and make control points like outlaws!
The Plan: This is a grinder deck. The goal of the deck is to get into shootouts. You don't really need to win per se. You want the fights to go on forever. The most likely thing that happens in a shootout between two like built decks is a draw. And ties go to you. Play a bunch of casualty reduction in order to tie your way through your opponents posse. Use cards like retribution and pistol whip to take away opponents answers. Play sentinel to close out the game.
Pros: Lots of people build decks to get into shootouts so you'll have lots of people who want to do what you want to do which is always nice. While most grinder decks have very little to say about your opponent ignoring you the inclusion of sentinel makes it so there is always a plan B.
Cons: You take some time to build up. And while you are pretty good at dealing with shooty decks you are in fact also a shooty deck. Things like control decks and slide decks make you sad.
Alterations: While get behind me Satan is the reduction core of this deck you could easily ditch the card and benediction and 8s to go into 7s instead for the shield of faith less casualty reduction but makes a lot of game plans fall apart. There are a number of different values to swap the 8 or the 6 out with in order to address a different concern or to stack more similar effects depending on your need.
