An updated version of my original Giddy Up: [D&D] Lite, after Mplain made me realize the sheer awesomeness that is Lane Healey. Been running a variant of this deck since the game dropped and, save for Mplain, not a lot of people are talking about Morgan's ability to shoot and shoot well.

This deck focuses on Morgan's vast resources: from a flowing economy, to fast deed and control point production, an endless flow of influence, and strong stud shooters, this deck has a little bit of everything. This multifaceted approach leads to a very versatile deck which is able to claim victory in a number of ways.

Structure: 12-7s; *12-5s; 9-3s

Though it seems light, shooting with a stud value of 2 or more will usually net you a full house or better. This, coupled with a few shootout actions to turn the fight in your favor will assure that you'll teach your opponent a lesson in underestimating the firepower of the Morgan Cattle Company.

Attach a horse to Lane as early as possible, while at the same time using him w/ Morgan's Outfit ability to bring a deed into play for next to nothing. Build your economy, and when your hand sports a few shootout actions (maybe a Coachwhip!) press your opponent if you feel like they could stand to lose some influence. Additionally, you'll want to turn aggressor, not only when your hand permits, but when you feel like you can safely absorb any potential casualties.

Move Clementine into your newly bought saloons, enjoy the additional influence and wait for more saloons in hand so you can use her to take over the deed purchasing duties from Lane, allowing you to reduce the new saloon's cost by 2 and safely leaving Clementine at a deed that she can't be called out from.

From there, just flood the board with as much influence and control points as you need in order to ensure that either you win or you don't lose. You'll be playing too many control for a less influence heavy opponent to keep up. Adversely, you'll have too much influence for your Deedslide opponent to take an easy win.

Sadly, I found out that [x12 x12 x10] loses consistently to other shooty decks with more solid structure =_=

Also, betting on Lane's 3 stud bullets to keep him safe from harm turned out to be a bad idea, as a single Sun In Yer Eyes really ruins your day.

Now I'm thinking about switching from 3's to 2's. Peacekeeper will protect Lane against anything but Unprepared, and if they do play it, you can run away by Makin' the Smart Choice. Shooty Landslide!
