Somewhat standard hex blitz original Sloane, with Doc Holliday, and the other deck I was strongly considering for this years main event at Gencon. This deck is very fast, and very brutal. The mixture of cheatin punishment, hand rank manipulation, and shootout shenanigans along with almost always having a 4 stud is very strong and fun to play. (My favorite combination is Sight Beyond Sight with Barton to peek at their hand, and know when you can cheat).
Doc really makes Point Blank into a snipers tool, as you have the option to make any level of stud up to 4. With a 1 stud (Slim), and a 2 stud (Barton), you can either add +3 bullets from Darragh Mèng, or 1 bullet from Dave "Slim" Gorman, making for any combination of 1, 2, 3, or 4 stud to snipe the particular dude(s) you need.
The rest is pretty self explanatory, but a last note is that Dave "Slim" Gorman is there as a stud huckster 1 dude with good influence, and will very rarely, if ever, use his ability.

Thanks, and that's a perfectly valid suggestion. I've played this deck a decent amount, and it always has trouble once something pulls the dudes out of the town square, so Harry would help keep them where they belong. The economy of this deck is awful, so he might be tough to afford, but he's probably better for staying in the game (influence) and keeping dudes in the TS, and could probably be slotted in instead of Jacqueline Isham. |
A very scary hexslinging list of killers. I would maybe suggest Harry Highbinder slotted in. While not a killer, and some upkeep, he might help with influence and attaching Heart cards in the Town Square.
Defiantly gets a star from me though.
