The idea is to have a lot of hexes in play and almost never fail with very few low value cards in the deck. Arnold McCadish is meant to keep the dudes alive until enough Huxters and Hexes are in play to overwhelm the opposition. Maybe the economy is lacking, but hopefully The Fourth Ring ability can mediate that a bit.
