"His hunger for better pay outweighs his hunger for flesh." -He Fang

"YOU CAN HAVE NOTHING!" -Ol' Howard

A theme deck entry for the Tombstone theme event.

Use Ol' Howard to start with the Bilton Collection Agency or California Tax Office, depending on whether you think it will be better to sit on opposing deeds or knock out upkeep dudes when your opponent is broke. Moving him later with Idol of Tlazolteotl is a nicety, but is not required.

The goal of this deck is to starve out your opponent. This is done by:

  • Winning lowball (most of the time, you'll get a high card hand)
  • Stealing money via This is a Holdup!
  • Forcing them to pay you via This'll Hurt in the Mornin'
  • Denying upkeep at locations you usually don't control via Sunday Best and Hiram Capatch

You can then start deploying more powerful dudes with your extra cash, discard their upkeep dudes with the California Tax Office, and pick off dudes in shootout that they are too poor to replace.

Ways to gain CP are:

  • Taking over opponent's deeds
  • The Union Casino
  • Nicodemus Whately
  • Old Man McDroste

This deck is probably strongest against landslide decks, but will have problems going anywhere against decks where your opponent has few deeds.

UPDATE: I had some fun with this deck and even pulled out two wins, but if your opponent refuses to play any deeds, then you two just sit around staring at each other while you wind up accumulating cash like Scrooge McDuck. Adding deeds is likely the first change I'd want to make.
