A deck that took me to first at the recent Huddersfield December tournament.

The basic premise is simple; create wretched and go mercilessly on the attack. The combination of a wretched, a shotgun and the sanatoriums home ability means anyone of value 6 or less is in real danger of being straight up aced whilst anyone else has to contend with a 5 stud wretched. If your opponent is, probably sensibly, doing there best to avoid your monster then Kipnappin' and forced Quarantine are used to force them into a fight.

Both the brute and Freddie are there to be sacrificed to create wretched and then yanked back from boot hill by the soul cages to do the same thing again. In addition the soul cages mean that you can be a little more aggressive with your wretched, at only 2 cost they are easy to invent again using a soul cage reaction.

If your starting hand doesn't seem to have much going for it then Freddie's alternate use come's into play. Grift with him and give your opponent the choice of a fetch or a paralysis mark. 9 times out of 10 the mark will be gone but that's what you were aiming for, use fetch to increase your chances of getting the key components you need to build your abominations and go on a rampage. If they don't ace the paralysis mark that's fine, you have a paralysis mark to play with and far more experienced players then me have written extensively on the subject of why that is a good thing.
