My Law Dogs deck that went 5-1 in swiss and fell in top 8. Designed to crush setup decks or anything that tries too many cute plays. Most of my matches were extremely straightforward and fast, usually ending in a turn or two. Tin Star.. yes.. Tin Star.. is a threatening good in this deck with so many wanted enablers and firepower. No hesitation.. just stack a bounty or two and attack immediately. Because you're running home with a pile of ghost rock you can recoup over and over again, repeating jobs and bounty hunter actions. Shout out to James for outlasting me in the fifth round, and eventual champion Richard Carter for smashing me with a wall of four pistol whips and tricksy moves. Had a blast, seems like a fun card game, would try again XD

Love the draw structure! 16/16 with backup (straight) flush is my favorite. Our of curiosity, did you hit a straight flush very often? And if not, have you considered Comin' Up Roses to help get those? That said, great deck as always, and congrats on the top 8 finish! |

Well done on making T8 and pleased to meet you in person. Enjoyed your (all too brief) comments on art and contrast before it was swept away by more card chat. Nice to see that a variety of draw structures can flourish with a 2x16/straight flush back-up going 5-1. Few would have predicted Tin Star showing up in the T8! Were they useful for controlling Town Square/restricting opposing movement? Interested in any changes you're considering. |

Well done! |
This deck is brutal! Turn after turn of targeted removal/bounty hunters, never giving a chance to breathe. Our match was epic, and had I not gotten lucky with a couple of shootout hands it would have easily gone your way.
I was rooting for the Law Dogs, but even though we didn't make it to the finals I think the fact that 3 of us made the top 8 is a sign that Law Dogs are certainly top tier, and here to stay (finally)!
