Played this to the top 4 in the latest online tourney. Straight flush is a risky deck and my luck couldn't last forever.
Surprisingly, money isn't usually much of a problem. Buskers is a must pay if your opponent has more ghost rock. I didn't play this version against Outlaws, but in that matchup, I think I'd start Dynamite Jacc against them instead for more stud plus hopefully being able to inflict a couple more casualties.
Changes I'd make: Probably drop the Mad Monk and Bai Yang. It's not that I couldn't afford them, but their upkeep makes keeping them on the board difficult. Maybe drop a Pinned Down for a second Coming Up Roses. Maybe drop Curse of Failure. I dunno, I mostly ended up in murder blenders so it didn't see much use. :)

Hunter Protections is an interesting one to get some more mileage out of Belligerence. I don't think I'd add more deeds, but I could consider swapping out Circle M Ranch. This deck likes to draw cards though and control points weren't really my sticking point. The new cheating resolution on 10 clubs in Whispers of War will probably find a way into the deck, though. |
This was a really great deck to see in action and I’ve already rebuilt my own Property Is Theft deck based on what I learned from the beating I took against this in the first round of the finals. Have you thought about Epitaph Branch Office and Hunter Protections? They can help force fights like New Town Hall.
