Maybe I'm missing something, but what is "Putting The Pieces Together" and "Coming Up Roses"?

Have you had a chance to play this? If so how does it work?

I feel like you should find a way to throw at least one 10 of Clubs in there. That way you have that option for a straight flush as well, however small it might be.

Comin' Up Roses is going to be a strong card for straight flush decks.

Why did you decide to use Heretic Joker (Red)?

It's because Putting The Pieces Together boots if you reveal a cheating hand, and so if you have a few of them out, revealing a cheating hand during lowball (or, indeed, during a shootout- but cheating is easier to avoid in a shootout) would utterly mess up that turn.

Keep in mind, you can choose not to pay the upkeep on Putting the Pieces together if they boot in lowball.

That's not an upkeep cost crx3800, its income.

@tbowers13 It's upkeep. Income is denoted with a '+' before the number.

Not when its attached to a deed or home it isn't. Monte Bank has the + symbol because it attaches to dudes who normally have upkeep noted in the bottom right as opposed to deeds which note income. If I'm wrong on this I'll be surprised. Has a ruling been made on the AEG forums?

Well, I was able to get fourth place with a 3-1 record at the 11-player OP6 event in Hartlepool 14/05/16 with this deck (though the first round was a bye for me) It showed me several things about the deck:

Fiddle Game is awesome, as it's income that your opponent can do nothing about. Need to put 4 in the deck.

Forced quarantine is a decent supply of control points, as well as spot removal.

Between those two, the deck can run with hardly any deeds in it. (It won twice without drawing any deeds)

Economy definitely needs work, as does influence.

The deck only ever cheated once, and that was on the first lowball pull of game 4.

With Putting The Pieces Together, the hand reduction from Heretic Joker isn't so bad - I was able to pull a rank 10 hand with it.

The database has Putting The Pieces Together as upkeep, not income. Are we sure it's treated as income when attached to your home? On the AEG forum someone asked about this card and part of the answer is that it's upkeep.

My guess is that it's upkeep so you can get rid of it if you choose (e.g. you find your deck is cheating more than you thought).

At the Hartlepool OP event, every time I looked over to where you were playing I saw you'd just pulled a Straight Flush. I'd have liked to see the deck in action, it's definitely an interesting one!

@YipeI was treating it as an upkeep, which was most of the cause of my economy problems. No sense in discarding them though, as they're vital to the running of the deck, even if they will mean you won't have decent shootouts for a turn following a cheating hand. However, as I said above, the deck only cheated once. @DoomDog Yeah, with the cheating resolution of Comin' Up Roses a straight flush (which then would get boosted to rank 11) isn't that hard to pull off.
