The idea here is to take advantage of Asakichi Cooke, Amazing Grace, Walk the Path and The 108 Righteous Bandits to move around and play the chess/control game. Once you've got a stud or two and maybe a blessed weapon you're also a decent shooter (Willa disapproves of your drunken town square antics!).
Originally built for the Crusaders, I realised this would work far better with the 108's movement tricks. This has worked okay in the few games I've played with it. I've not played it against horses yet but I imagine that'd be a tough game as they're also very manoeuvrable. If your opponent isn't playing any deeds of their own or just hiding at home it might be a slow game as there isn't much in the way of aggro.
