Johnny and Bartholomew breathe new life into an old archetype, allowing bigger discounts and more aggressive starting turns with less risk for your guys and gals. Heretic Jokers assist in winning lowball again and again despite overlapping values and other decks’ recent looser draw structures. Less and less players include a full set of call-out actions, but Hired Guns counters what gets in or lets you dig up more influence if things go south. Fast play is still required to deal with time limits, Regulators is always a perilous matchup due to influence caps, and a skilled Full Moon player can threaten/lock down with movement limitations so practice in those matchups is a must. Happy slidin’.

Congratulations! Sometimes it needs the odd slide victory to encourage people to play forced callouts/jobs. Also encouraged that Bartholomew P. Fountain is worth playing over Jake Smiley - I'd rather slide tried to play with movement stuff that just stack influence. |

as another side note, androcles is probably a superior option to start over william, but i wanted to experiment with more aggressive deed play early on. |
