Use Avie to hold the hexes, then don't pay her. Ace them with Buried Treasure, ace a few more Aboms, then use Ivor Exp to get the hexes back. Don't ever pay Ivor's upkeep.

It might need more Aboms.

I don't get it... do you ace Funtime Freddydy, then discard Avie to get inf on Karl Odett? then bring in Ivor Hawley (Exp.1) and force a fight if you can and hope not to die?
