Sit in the Town Square and generate control points. You should be able to shoot better than anyone else usually thanks to starting 2 studs and a whole host of cards like Mirror, Mirror and Hex Slingin'.

I've only had a handful of games with the deck, but loved how it performed. The first issue I had really was my hand filling with cards like Cheatin' Varmint and Hex Slingin' when I couldn't play them, either because I had no hexes out or not enough money and they didn't cheat. Might change 2x Cheatin' Varmint to something else, might see if I can fit more hexes in, but the structure is pretty tight already... The other issue was facing posse's full of 0/1 studs, where I could often have Corporeal Twist and Pagliaccio unuseable since they wouldn't change the number of cards my opponent got. The Point Blanks didn't seem as useful as I'd hoped, so I'll probably switch them out, and I can replace them with Kings or Eights depending what I fancy, might try Nightmare at Noon. I feel firepower wise, I see people starting 1 stud guy, or a couple of 0/1 studs, and I think I'll draw more cards before a shootout action is played. True people playing something like 3x 16 will probably get a better hand with less cards, but I feel there's enough in the deck to make sure I draw enough to get a better hand. |
I'm interested in this deck. What changes would you do to this deck and why? What match ups did you feel like you needed more firepower? I like the feel of the deck congrats on top 8 finish.
