Standard 4th Ring control deck taken to 8th going 3-2, losing in the quarters. Would take out both No Funny Stuff and the Friends in High Places and probably replace with three Lost to the Plague. Would also find space for Nicodemus Whateley, probably dropping Smiling Tom if using in future.

Congratulations on finishing as top 4R. :)

The comments on what worked/what didn't work are really helpful. Thanks for leaving out of your report that your quarter-final defeat was an injustice after you comfortably won our Saturday night games with the same decks 2-1.

Good to see a control style 4R deck can still be competitive post Paralysis Mark errata, while avoiding being the ghastly negative play experience it was pre errata. I think you've shown this with previous decks, but good to see it underlined and will hopefully encourage those that like this play style.

Well done! What was your matches like and how did it all end?

Congratulations! Sorry we didn't have a chance to square off this past weekend; hopefully, this will be remedied next time.

I'm flagging this one, as I have never really come to grips with playing a Hex deck, and I like the look of this one. I'll keep in mind the note about Lost to the Plague, too: that would be nasty for certain decks that rely on low-value dudes... .

I was using 2x Too Much Attention as my tens in the Hex deck I used on Saturday evening. I found it useful for booting out key deeds, such as The Mayor's Office in Lapp's Abominations deck, and also good for letting an opponent move onto your deed then denying them its ability. Another tool for slowing down the Allie clock too (and good vs Sloane decks and aggressive Kidnappers in general).

``@LordManHammerwill post a report over the weekend, it all came to an abrupt end against@Harlath`'s Sloane town square blitz. I ran out of influence against a tide of control points

@DoomDog, good idea with Too Much Attention, hadn't considered that but would make a lot of sense. Thanks!
