New deck I put together during stay at home. With PBE I try to keep a deck together for each Outfit card. Previously for The Sloane Gang it was a Bicycle Deck for the annual Hogkillin' Time at GenCon, and in resuming that next year we are moving to a Revolver format, so it was time to build something new.

When Johnny Ringo appeared there was some talk on using him with A Piece of the Action, so with some brainstorming, this madness was created. As I have always been a fan of the Sloane blitz play style, it was interesting to look at an approach that aims to build first.

The idea is to spend a turn or two building up and getting Ringo out so he can stack with a Peacemaker and Sidekicks before running around on solo Curse of Failure missions or sitting on an opposing deed while the rest of the gang aim to get control points in town square. The starting posse allows Kate to give Ringo the bounty he needs for his trait to trigger and add a bullet that stacks with Stone and hopefully Morgan Lash sees play to add to his bullets as well. It's goofy fun that aims to straight flush without the use of comin' up roses. Have fun adapting it to your own and as always I'm looking for suggestions I may have missed (particularly in cutting down anti-cheatin cards since there is a lot) :)

Yep straight from your New Year's Eve shenanigans, that's going to be our format for next GenCon's Hogkillin' Time :)

Speakin' o' Tom, this deck take any inspiration from (https://dtdb.co/en/decklist/3074/johnny-kill-good-top-8-tombstone-2019-)?

I did not and completely forgot Tom played that! Looking at the list, I really like Hostile Takeover and might have to see if I can rework this structure to include that.

We here in Berkeley are used to being abused by Johnny Ringo, but in Tombstone, players would often reach across the table in shock and disbelief as his trait + ability absolutely bullied their poker unexpectedly.

In reaching for lower values to situate Hostile Takeover firmly within your structure, you could consider Hired Guns as a tool to diversify your 8 spades band (perhaps Steven Wiles & Silas Aims?).

Cheers.

Having played against this deck a few times, I gotta say...

Now I really hate him.
