My take on Fourth Ring hexes. I was running Jacks and Queens for the longest time. Also tried Tens for a while, before settling on Jacks and Nines. Deck seems to flow better. Not much needs to be said on the value of Curse of Failure and Ricochet. Setting up Avie Cline (Exp.1) at The Whateley Estate is always fun. And you can always build up the Epidemic Laboratory to force a shoutout or two.

Starting posse doesn't have a big stud, but Maurice Croker can help mitigate that. Especially when you follow it up with Valeria Batten shadow walking in and blood cursing any remaining threats.

Overall, it's a pretty fun deck to pilot.

Jun 10, 2020 jordan caldwell Why no Micah Ryse (Exp.1)? Also, often folks run two from Soul Blast and/or Puppet... You just trying to keep your pulls 100% tight?
Jun 10, 2020 aztecjoker `@jordan caldwell`: Micah was just too expensive for my personal play style. I prefer to keep dudes at five rock or less when possible. Made an exception for Avie cause she's just too good for the deck. Unfortunately, I don't feel the same way about Micah. And yeah, I'm pretty much trying to keep the deck at 100%. Although, with Grimoires & More, I've been thinking about throwing at least one Puppet in.

Jun 16, 2020 Harlath With no upkeep it might not be necessary, but I wondered about swapping out The Brute for Willa Mae MacGowan to give one more starting ghost rock to help get your starting economy/attach early spells? Admittedly many of the spells are free!
Jun 22, 2020 aztecjoker `@Harlath`: The 1GR start does seem pretty low, but I've yet to have issues with it. Having 0 upkeep definitely helps. Also, most of my hexes are free and all but two of my deeds cost 2 rock or less. I feel like Raising Hell makes The Brute a better fit for the deck as well. But I'll definitely keep Willa Mae MacGowan in mind.
