Heres a deck idea i had that was just for a laugh... but im now serious into to trying to make it work. What do people think?

I went for abrahams crusaders purely to make the grey man a deputy to be fadter on the draw. A shotgun may prove usefull too cheers |

Good point - it is hard to resist the temptation of a high stud Grey Man! :) Might still be room for a bullet catcher out of this home, appreciate it makes the starting GR a little tight... |

On Harlaths point, and considering you have 2 The Gambler's Gun's, I highly suggest starting Henry Moran. Can soak 2 more casualties, provides a potential 3 stud with Bowie Knife, and saves your dudes from being discarded in lowball via the gamblers gun. This draw structure is relatively tight, so you will be cheating in lowball somewhat regularly. Very much worth the 1 GR cost. Looks like a fun deck |

Im tempted to drop the gamblers gun and take 2 more jaels guile. And i can see the benifit from adding wilma mae macgowan. A mirricle that acts the same as pestilence mark would be awesome for this deck |
Looks good, I like seeing innovative things such as starting The Grey Man, particularly out of LD. :)
Maybe worth experimenting with one or two Shotgun? It is one value and you can fetch whichever of Bowie Knife or Shotgun you need at a given moment, albeit it cuts your melee weapons slightly.
You've got a significant number of ways to make dudes studs already, so this would add a little extra?
Maybe start out of the base home for the extra +1 GR? And maybe add a 1GR starting dude like Willa Mae MacGowan or Henry Moran to catch bullets?
Unprepared is great, but I often add 1x Recruitment Drive - it is a big help against defensive decks. Admittedly sometimes I end up in shootouts wishing it was an Unprepared...
