An introductory Sloane Deck with 2x Base Set + There Comes A Reckoning. The four decks in this series can all be built at the same time, excluding the jokers (you'll have 4x jokers from two Base Sets, so you can switch them in to whichever two decks you're playing with).
Your main shooting values are 3, 5 and 7.
Your plan is to boot Allie Hensman and your other dudes in Town Square (using The Sloane Gang) to get the control points your need to take over the town. Remember that control points generated from your home are added to your dude after victory is checked.
- You have a positive net income each turn even if you lose lowball, so you can build safely unless your opponent has enough control points to win. This gives you time to wait for the right cards in your hand and to play more dudes/deeds. Remember you can spread your deeds either side of your home to help spread your opponent's dudes out. Your economy is a little tight at the start of the game but The Sloane Gang's ability can be used generate the ghost rock needed to get some deeds in to play and get your economy rolling.
- Kidnappin' can help pick off key opposing dudes and put bounty on Fred Aims to boost your influence to a safer level.
- Mausoleum is on value with your shootout structure and can create a huge control point swing if you manage to ace an opposing dude (particularly one with influence) during shootout resolution or with one of your Shotguns.
- Grim Servant O' Death can be used offensively to try to drag your opponent's influence in to shootouts. Remember that it can be used defensively too: if your dude is called out then they are the "mark" allowing you to target a one of your own dudes at home. Then you can choose between moving in a strong shooter or leaving the target and home and getting some extra cheatin' punishment plus boosting one of your dudes in the shootout (ideally one with a Shotgun!). If you can use The Sloane Gang and Allie Hensman to boost your control points your opponent may be forced to call you out and walk in to this trap!
