Took awhile before Out for Blood was fully available to post this. I have forgotten the majority of my matches by now, apologies. But I can say on a whim I threw this deck together (given that O4B was declared "legal" for this event by the players!) and gave it a go and was surprised it fielded well. It is certainly a blast to play...
The name comes from a "combo" which I found out didn't work (thanks Max) using Idol of Tlazolteotl to move Ol' Howard to haunt an opposing deed and then have Master Shou ghostbust it. Unfortunately, the actual card text says "abomination dude" rather than just "abomination" which this database still needs to update. Anyhow, the second idea was to use Lighting The Fuse fighting on opposing deeds assisted with Raven by getting across the street via Amazing Grace; if they cheat - Kaboom! - all your dudes go home safe.
The primary shootout engine is to use House of Many Faiths to keep Jokers cycling via The Joker's Smile (using your grifter to fetch it turn one). Game plan is to adapt using the ever-versatile Sentinel (to poker and/or to chess).
That's about it. Still needs work. Latest version has Forster Cooke instead of Yunxu Jiang, perhaps another copy of Champion (really like this card for no reason). Open to suggestions.
Cheers!

It's not direct. Typically, if an opponent sees Raven (let alone Lighting The Fuse in your discard), they will try to focus call-outs in the townsquare. Thus, Amazing Grace let's you refuse the likely townsquare callout en route to your destination: their unwitting deed! |

So with the revelation of the ghost-busting combo not working, would you still keep Howard+Joker's Smile in the deck? Is it good enough with the home on it's own in your opinion? |

I can see that the wording for Master Shou was fixed on this site. Good question! I haven't looked at this deck since then, but I imagine an iteration could involve Moving Forward into The Whateley Estate, as the idea is to keep the Jokers locked and loaded. Open to any other suggestions too. |
As ever, thanks for sharing the list! Congratulations and hope you enjoyed the event. :)
Good to see Sentinel and Champion being put to good use. Champion really opens things up for Miracles relative to For Such a Time as This, which requires very specific deck building. Nice to see Amazing Grace get some use - one of my regular opponents has been using it to good effect lately!
Is it worth considering Benjamin Washington in the starting posse? Not certain if +1GR saved on upkeep and cycling a card is worth giving up Willa Mae MacGowan's emergency eject button, but might be worth experimenting with?
Cochise County Courthouse might be worth including as a semi-aggro tool, seeing as you're using your Clubs for other things? Albeit you've got Raven to put pressure on people already.
