Many thanks to @LastWalter for piloting this during the 2020 Marshal event - I had registered for the event but found it hard to take part due to work, parenting and the concurrent Ranger event. This was effectively a live "meta check" from the playtest team.

I'm afraid this isn't anything particularly imaginative, just standard "good stuff" science horses with Calling The Cavalry. Unlike normal horses, Yagn's Mechanical Skeleton gives you a great match up against control/slide as Maggie Harris can effectively fetch extra influence for you.

Can't report the matches in great detail, but know the deck performed well, going 4-1 in Swiss before falling in the first round of the top 8 against Blargg's Dead Man's Hand First People deck.

Oct 01, 2020 DoomDog I suppose it's more a question for LastWalter than yourself, but did Dr. Arden Gillman see much play in this deck? Would you consider "Lucky" Sky Borne as a good replacement dude for more risk-averse people?
Oct 03, 2020 Harlath Lucky is indeed an excellent and more conservative substitute for Dr. Arden Gillman. Both basically act as inadequate substitutes for #diego, as his loss makes inventing Yagn's Mechanical Skeleton much riskier! As you allude, I'm willing to bear a lot more risk than some players in this deck and others in only starting one skilled dude... Sometimes backfires spectacularly... :)

Lucky is indeed an excellent and more conservative substitute for Dr. Arden Gillman. Both basically act as inadequate substitutes for #diego, as his loss makes inventing Yagn's Mechanical Skeleton much riskier! As you allude, I'm willing to bear a lot more risk than some players in this deck and others in only starting one skilled dude... Sometimes backfires spectacularly... :)
