Avie Cline is a popular lady. After donning her sharpest accoutrements to look her finest and selecting a proper locale, she's fond of throwing parties for a single guest. Few can refuse her invitations.
Valeria and Ramiro are present to call out, er, call on new acquaintances, but no affair is complete without inviting Miss Henry. Avie and Eve love to wear purple and paint the town red.
The parties go on all night, naturally, but Avie hates missed opportunities, so stiff cocktails and medicinals aid in keeping the fun going.

Thanks! The Caretaker is a good idea, with all the pros and cons you mentioned. I will try it out when playing, and might well do it. Parties need a caretaker! I thought about Phantasm, but gave up after trying to shuffle around values to make that pull more likely. |

Glad to help, and agree on Phantasm - probably requires a more radical overhaul on values. Good policy on testing Phantasm - Doomtown is intricate enough that it is often best to test different starting gangs with the same deck. |
Hooray for Avie Cline (Exp.1) harpoon decks. I like the inclusion of Good Stiff Drink and The Pharmacy, helps overcome Morgan Regulators which can be a pain for this deck.
Could Phantasm work well too to lure people to The Whateley Estate to get murdered? Helps grind through effects like Morgan Regulators or Beyond the Veil too. :)
Could starting The Caretaker work instead of Ramiro Mendoza? Leaves you vulnerable if they catch you on the turn you're moving the Caretaker, but saves on upkeep and Ramiro's fee per shootout
