This is a rebuild from How can this be winning so much? Deck. Once again, an almost bicycle deck. Using Jia Mein to get Fiddle Game and Putting the pieces Together gets to a high card is a rank 5. Getting horses out and Calling the cavalry makes it so a high card is rank 10. Gambler's gun is a couple more when needed. Outside of the fighting mechanic, this is a land slide. The Previous version is the 2016 Summer Doomtown winner in La Crosse WI. Try it out.

A problem I see is there are 2 spells in the deck, and Jia Mein (Exp.1) needs a spell to pull a condition from deck.

Grifter.... Sack Freddy get a spell. Played deck many times, never cast the spell.

She was in a previous deck. She needs to be in the starting posse, but can't. Freddy to get the spells, Jin to get putting the pieces together, Jake and Ambrose for influence, and Willa Mae to get out of early fights. To many spot removers to not have Willa Mae. Can not get into fights the first few days. If you are making this for yourself, throw her in but Calling the Calvary is secondary.

Nice to see another go at PTPT/bicycle, particularly the trick of using Jia Mein to fetch Putting The Pieces Together. Presumably makes a big difference to getting things moving faster.

Is Henry Moran worth considering for the odd occasions when you cheat?

Two parts, I have cheated so few times, and they were when I didn't have ptpt or fiddle out. Most likely those are what you would cheat with. Second, Henry still "reveals" the cheating hand, so the negatives still trigger. (Still argue that on.) So kinda pointless.

Agree on the rarity of cheatin' with this structure, but I think Henry Moran does still work as you get to choose which order to trigger your cards in response to revealing a cheatin' hand and if the second hand is legal PTPT no longer gets booted as there's nothing to react to.

There used to be a link I could send about this on the AEG forums but it has gone now they've been wiped. Best I can do is suggest asking at the new official forums or check out the tournament thread below by one of the designers which mentions this issue in passing: dtdb.co

That said, can totally see why you'd keep Willa Mae MacGowan at the same price - she's a great panic button! :)

Agreed with Harlath on Henry Moran and choosing the order of resolving applicable traits in the window.

The main difference in traits like Henry Moran and Putting The Pieces Together and Justice In Exile is that they do not specify "you may" while traits like Philip Swinford do.

Recent errata to Henry Moran - you no longer "reveal" the hand at all (don't even show your opponent) - he quickly replaces it "just before" revealing.

Just to be sure I understand the card interaction. You are unable to use Fullmoon Brotherhood and rope and ride on the same dude correct? Or do the movement restriction just pertain to your opponent?
