How does this deck work? The Law Dogs have several strong shootout-focused dudes, but to get the most out of them they need to be fighting against Wanted dudes (dudes with bounty). Rather than rush out to fight straight away, start by using the Law Dogs home ability to place bounties on opposing dudes. Choosing your opponent's best shooter as your first target is a good move, because then you can use Hattie DeLorre to reduce their bullets when a shootout breaks out. That target is also likely to join any posse that defends against any aggression on your part, which allows you to use "Thunder Boy" Nabbe's ability to make him a mighty three stud. Use those abilities and action cards like Sun in Yer Eyes and Faster on the Draw to pressure your opponent in shootouts, making them more likely to have to rely on a cheatin' hand to achieve a good shootout rank, which will activate Tommy Harden's trait which should give you enough of a rank boost to come out of the fight as the winner. If your opponent has a habit of throwing down cheatin' five-of-a-kinds, bring a Quickdraw Handgun to the shootout to ruin their day. Your endgame is to aggressively hunt down opposing Wanted dudes with the help of Bounty Hunter, Judge Harry Somerset and Bass Reeves. |

How is Rob Wilby a starting dude? He's neither part of the faction nor a Grifter... |

Rob Wilby is a Drifter (Neutral character). Drifters can be part of any starting gang. |
