It's "Another Dumb Deck Idea!" with twoeyedjack!
Abominations. Am I right? Seem to come out of the woodwork. I had wanted to build a solid abomination deck ever since the core set first came out. Then Oddities of Nature came out and I felt that urge rise again. Problem was, I couldn't nail a solid build that felt good to me at that time. The idea began sinking to the bottom of my decklist, like a sad snow cone on a hot summer's day.
Hawley's Rose changed all that noise. Now everyone can be an abomination, if they truly believe in themselves. Yes, even Rico Rodegain, Nicodemus Whateley, and Horace Manse can Abominate with this little flower that makes life difficult for others, raising the influence just that much higher.
8-value is tightly packed right now, and I did make another deck using The Wretched, but that isn't this deck. No, this deck is meant to set up a clown tent in town square, entertaining every passerby with buffoonery. Gomorra Parish lets you ace aboms, with Undertaker earning you rock, and then Horace Manse digs them out of boot hill. Or perhaps Soul Cage straight up raises them from the grave into your posse?
Ambush is my choice over Kidnappin' for this deck purely for the acing of the mark and the non-requirement of having more bullets. Yeah, it's four rock, but considering that your income starts at 3 and the potential of not paying for your dudes to enter play by using the Cage, plus 12 deeds, I figure it might be worth it. You could easily swap them out if you disagree.
I particularly like how 8's and Q's are more or less full across the four suits, while the 2's have all their dudes in play to start. It's a 16/15/15 deck that is really a 12/15/15 deck, but the draw structure doesn't suffer much. That's really why I classify this deck as "Another Dumb Deck Idea!" The Abominator: Reloaded. Have fun!
