I've been working on a Law Dogs DMH deck since Reloaded first launched and this is the latest iteration.

I played this to 3-2 at Gencon 2019, with at least one of those losses occurring due to time. Then again, one of my wins came from time as well. The deck needs a bit more to close things out. Either more Bounty Hunter or perhaps loosening the draw structure a bit more and running Ol' Fashioned Hangin'. Likely the latter, since I'm not packing a ton of cheating punishment. I never drew into a DMH, but there is always next time.

Overall, it did better than I was expecting. My starters are solid, I don't think I'd change anything there.

Carter Richardson was a late addition since I bought O4B at the con. I only got him into play once or twice, but it definitely helped being able to bring him directly into a shootout. Sheriff Eli Waters is a solid stud out of the deck. I'd probably bump them both to 2x and drop Abram Grothe and Xiong "Wendy" Cheng (Exp.1). Abram was mainly included due to value. I wanted to get some use out of Wendy, but she was a bit pricey.

The Law Goes Underground was an MVP. Being able to hit the eject button if a shootout takes a bad turn was a great option. I usually drew enough to ensure my hand was legal. If my opponent was legal too, we usually tied or they beat me and Tommy couldn't help me out, it provided a safe way to get out of a jam. I'll likely bump that to at least 3 copies and pull Meet The New Boss. It was okay, it thinned the deck, but it provides little benefit in shootouts, which is where the deck needs a smidge of a boost.

Idol of Tlazolteotl is great. It boosts "Thunder Boy" Nabbe or I stick it on Philip Swinford and he becomes a bounty generating machine. 2 of is about right.

I go back and forth on my selection of Ace actions. I'll probably drop Make 'em Sweat. Civil War and Hired Guns both had their uses, but they cost a ghost rock each. Money was tight at times in the early game, making them less than stellar. Then again, I'm also considering trying to get Murdered in Tombstone into the deck. Getting hit by Sun in Yer Eyes was a bit rough and I have no way of making a draw a stud, aside from Thunder Boy's action.

If you are lookin' for closin' strength, I'd strongly suggest considering Judge Harry Somerset, or Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1). The former is my preferred version, but the latter has much to recommend himself, and would be on-value so you wouldn't need to find a slot.

Seeing as how you don't have a Draw-to-Stud mechanic in your deck currently, might I suggest swapping in Daomei Wang in place of The Fixer?

I'm curious as to the choice of The Evidence over Pedro. Did you find you made significant mileage out of The Evidence?

For 8c, I'm going to recommend taking a look at Fleet-Footed. Bounty Hunter and This'll Hurt in the Mornin' are excellent... but Fleet-Footed gives you shootout presence, a bit of mobility, and cycles itself reliably. With so many good CR's these days, I'd suggest This'll Hurt in the Mornin' could perhaps be switched out...

...and then there's Point Blank. Did you find yourself making a mark w/P.B.? If not, that might free up a couple of slots for alternative CR's (to be dredged up with Murdered in Tombstone...

Just some thoughts, interested in seeing how you develop the deck further! :)

Going to second bringing a couple of copies of Daomei Wang in your A slots. Still brings influence, but also has stud. Fleet Footed is also a good call. For the A action I'm usually torn between Hired Guns, Establishin' Who's In Charge and Murdered in Tombstone in some variety. Pedro is another solid suggestion.

Do you get much mileage out of your Rapiers? I find they get nullified too often to be useful without support cards.

I wanted to include Judge Harry Exp for one slot but thought my GR stash would be a little tight. And it was. I theoretically could have saved up, but it usually made more sense while playing to buy what I could each turn. He's definitely something I'll keep an eye on going forward.

Good call on Daomei. Will probably make him x2, one Lucy, one Allie.

The Evidence was nice. In the mirror match, I denied my opponent from keying in on my dudes. Against others, it was a solid way to bump the bounty on the board or hit those 3 inf dudes. I also think Showstopper is a set I don't have, so no Pedro.

I wish I could fit in Fleet-Footed. Bounty Hunter is great spot removal. This'll Hurt is solid in lowball (if I'm not cheating to boost my economy or nuke a threat) or a shootout (I'm usually at least a legal full house. This'll usually helps me win, or even increase their casualties).

Point Blank was okay. Most of the decks I faced seemed shootout focused. I may try swapping it for more CR (Ricochet ?) and seeing how that plays.

Rapier was okay. I didn't see many opposing weapons. I am packing Unprepared. The weapons I did see a few of were Shotgun. Adding one to Tommy Harden's value moved him out of immediate acing range so I could bring him into the shootout and then wipe the shotgun with Hattie DeLorre.

Second Murdered in Tombstone, which helps with both the CR shortage and with re-studifying (and if you're the Winner, it also lets you block, say, Calling The Cavalry in a key shootout).

As with other DMH decks, I'd suggest E Gui (reduces jam if Steven Wiles should die) and Denise Brancini (since jokers probably are more valuable to you than your opponent) as on-value cycling Dudes.

And maybe Wylie Jenks and Flight of the Lepus?
