It's "Another Dumb Deck Idea!" from twoeyedjack.

I love Emilia Vivirias. I love Heartseeker. I love Corporeal Twist. I love Pinned Down.

I didn't have a Sloane hex deck that I enjoyed until I made this. Why? Pat Benatar. She did a song called, "Heartbreaker," that is a great classic rock song with this catchy chorus that is difficult not to sing at the top of your lungs.

"That's great, Jack, but what does that have to do with...," yeah, yeah, well, look.

Emilia is Pat Benatar. Instead of singing about heartbreakers, though, she sings about Heartseekers.

Which is what I did during the entirety of the match every time I played and/or used Heartseeker.

"You're a Heartseeker/Dream meeker/ Love teeker, don't you mess around with me!"

If they didn't like my singing "Heartseeker", I sang Chubby Checker's "The Twist" when playing and/or using Corporeal Twist.

I lost. I still had fun. :D

Anyway, the idea is a classic Sloane-camp-town-square-protect-Allie-run-up-control-points-on-dudes strategy. Also threw caution to the wind and ran cheating 4- and 5oaKs every single shootout, mostly because I had Barton Everest out there. Reckless abandon and terrible singing. So much fun.

I did learn, though, that it needs more spades on value. I got so close to a legal 5oaK twice but was missing the spade. In fact, the spades dry up a little too quickly so I might revamp it to run on two values mainly instead of three. Pistol Whip wasn't that great, but Hex Slingin' was MVP in getting a tie with a Dead Man's Hand shootout. Interesting case, that. I had used Heartseeker, and with a dead tie at Dead Man's there is no winner or loser for the round. My opponent got to reduce his casualties to nothing while I took one and couldn't ace his shooter since I didn't win the shootout round.

Fetch helped out significantly, allowing me to take what I felt was most needed.

With four copies of Heartseeker, there is a slight risk of failing hex pulls here and there, as there aren't many skilled hucksters at helpful values for the draw structure, though that may be my own inexperience with hexes talking.

Using the original home instead of one of the new ones can practically guarantee a control point on a dude considering the variety of ways they can earn them. It also makes for tempting targets to lead opponents into doing the Corporeal Twist with your Huckster.

Be a Heartseeker, Pat Benatar. "Another Dumb Deck Idea!" from twoeyedjack. Have fun!
