Put as much bounty out there as possible with Confession, The Evidence, Ebenezer Springfield, Andrew Burton, and Lucinda "Lucy" Clover. Then go after them with Ol' Fashioned Hangin', Bounty Hunter, or Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1). Use Too Much Attention to boot them, shutting down their movement. Jael's Guile and Consecration can own cheatin' hands. Abram Grothe (Exp.2) comes to town pretty quick, and potentially locks down the town with Too Much Attention. The Whateley Estate brings back The Evidence to keep bounties going or protect against someone running Mugging on your miracles.

That's assuming you manage to scrape enough influence onto the field to avoid losing on day one.

I have to say, 5-value stinks for Law Dog dudes. The value works for Dogs in all other suits EXCEPT spades, so if anyone out there happens to be a developer for AEG, please give us better Law Dog dudes in 5's! I don't even have a 5-value Dog dude in the deck because they're so terrible.

The 8's aren't much better. Too expensive, but the Judge's ability is too good for the deck, as is Wylie's trait. Vasilis is pricey, especially since I can't use his ability, but I look at him as a backup Steven Wiles in case Steven gets aced (which happens surprisingly often of late).

Probably the biggest drawback is no affordable Blessed 1 in Law Dogs, and if Rev. Perry goes away, you can forget about reliably activating either of the miracles in the deck. That is where the miracles are so terrible; they are in rotten values versus difficulty, and the Dogs haven't got any other ringer besides the Reverend. In order for miracles to really take off, Law Dogs needs some affordable Blessed 2's and at least one Blessed 3 that is comparable to the other level 3 skilled dudes in the other factions. Same argument could be made for their Mad Scientists, since they have a home card that directly references Gadgets, and they don't have any decent scientists. Their best scientist requires other Deputies, and can only invent weapon gadgets. What the crap, man?

In all honesty, nearly all the Law Dog Dudes are too expensive and have little to no influence on their cheaper starters. A shame since they seem to have some neat mechanics on them that never see play as a result. They could really use some more affordable Deputies, or a goods card that bestows the Deputy keyword. If Tin Star also bestowed the Deputy keyword in addition to its trait, I'd pay 2 cost for it. Don't understand why it doesn't in the first place since it fits the theme of the card. Seeing that there are more goods cards appearing that bestow some of the important keywords, maybe we'll see something come up in a future saddlebag that does so.

Apologies for going off on a semi-rant there. I like Law Dogs and it feels to me like they haven't been given much oomph of late given their suggested deck strategies via their home abilities.
