Trying to get more into Doomtown, so thought I'd post my current favorite deck. I've been in a secluded meta dominated by a few other players using my own cards to build their decks, so could use some help here.

I really enjoy strong movement control and sending dudes home booted, so this deck goes all in on Rabbit's Deception.

I also enjoy rushing control to keep the game on a tight clock, so Allie Hensman is there with The 108 Righteous Bandits ability protecting her after she boots. That's also why I have Establishin' Who's in Charge. I didn't put in big cards like Chow because I want to win before Chow would be relevant.

The 4x Faithful Hounds are in mainly to deal with the law dogs deck my most common opponent enjoyed using. Same with Hamshanks (stopping those mean Bounty Hunters).

I currently own cards up to the Light Shineth and am looking to update this deck. For example, Las Quemas have rarely seen play because they are so expensive, so I imagine those could be replaced with Baijiu Jars and I could add in Mr. Outang? Lady Luck is in to help me cycle towards my next Tao card, but would Shifu Speaks, Focusing Chi, or something else be better?

Shifu Speaks would probably serve better than Lady Luck. Hired Guns is another good A value action, great for grabbing Allie from your discard pile.

Ghost Town would be a good expansion to pick up to give a couple more options for goods on 4s, as Faithful Hound is expensive and having four of them could lead to them clogging up your hand. As you already have several weapons, Sunday Best might be easier to fit in than Tusk, but both are useful and you can bring a mix of Hounds and other stuff. You'd also get "Mahogany" Jackson to add to your Kung Fu dudes and a load of other cool cards for other decks.

Baijiu Jars are definitely worth getting for a Kung Fu deck, until you get those maybe add in some Pairs of Six-Shooters instead for a cheap A goods? I'm surprised you don't have any Cheatin' Resolutions in your deck so those would be better than nothing.

I like Longwei Fu in Jade Rabbit decks. He can perform long combos with his Kung Fu rating of 4, and if he ends up at home after using Rabbit's Deception he still adds +1 stud to your posse.

Dirty Deeds has the 'finisher' for the Jade Rabbit Tao, Rabbit Takes Revenge.

Is it worth throwing in some cheatin' punishment? Perhaps Bottom Dealin'? You could also try Coachwhip!, albeit that dilute down your copies of Rabbit's Lunar Leap, or perhaps Inner Struggle? There a risk that an opponent decides to "cheat through the pain" and quickly realises there isn't any pain to cheat through here.

Beyond that, looks pretty solid to me - slight lack of jobs/forced callouts. This might lead to issues winning before time against defensive decks/landslide. Ambush might work but is expensive and, as with coachwhip, comepte for space on 4 with Rabbit's Lunar Leap. Your wise inclusion of Allie Hensman and Establishin' Who's in Charge help mitigate this by providing extra Control Points to put pressure on your opponent.

I’d consider throwing in a single Legendary Holster. You might often fail 1/3 of pulls, but it will always cause headaches for your opponent.

Good advice there on Legendary Holster - succeeding 2/3 pulls is still pretty decent, and you'll know the odds better than your opponent. Game changer when it hits the table, alters who joins posses (due to instant death threat!) and makes lowball vital. Worth a copy or two alongside Doomsday Supply as you're on 5 anyway for the latter. :)

Doomsday Supply absolutely belongs in here! Good catch. I don't really need 4 hounds or 3 Nunchucks, so I can trim those down, throw in a Legendary Holster and some Sunday Best, and use the Doomsday Supply to get the goods I really need.

I'm thinking more about the Cheatin' Resolution options. I'm looking at Inner Struggle because it's on-value and has staying power, but I'm worried this deck would cheat too often for it to be reliable? I've been in a weird meta where I've rarely ever played Cheatin' Resolutions (because my main opponent was an honest Law Dog that never cheated).

Current planned changes

-1 Hiram Capatch / +1 Longwei Fu

-2 Lady Luck / +2 Inner Struggle

-4 La Quema / +3 Baijiu Jar

-2 Faithful Hound / +2 Sunday Best

-2 Nunchucks / +2 Doomsday Supply

+1 Legendary Holster

I'm interested to see how much pain I feel from losing the 2 Lady Lucks. I'm remembering how helpful Lady Luck has been with a 7 or 8 card hand size (from Randall and Bai Yang Chen)
