Had a 5 player bicycle tourney. 1 Morgan (trying to use force field and Mario), 1 Sloan (Original home, Allie and Mario), Original 4th Ring and 2 x Oddities of Nature. We did round robin.

Looking back over the day I would probably change Under the Weather for Pistol Whip as the one time I saw it, I failed the pull against a 3 grit dude... also probably the One Good Turn…would turn into a Faster on the Draw.

General idea of the deck is not to get into comparing hand ranks, but to kill the dude with either Soul Blast, Shotgun or Point Blank, but if you do get into the actual resolution phase change hand build with Doyle's Hoyle and The Ghostly Gun. If that isn't happening then use Cheatin' Varmintor ..It's who you know or Hex Slingin' to change your hand rank to win. AKA this was built to try and deal with Mario Crane who in bicycle can be insane.

Round one vs my wife (geee thanks Dan) . She was playing the Sloan deck and had, what I can only describe as a start that you would be proud of out of a built deck. I died, a lot, quickly. Not the greatest of starts.

Round two was vs Original 4R. Game went a few turns of cat and mouse, neither side with a decisive position. He dropped Ivor Hawley and stuck a spell on him, I drop Bobo, 4 stud. We end up with pretty much every dude in the game in Town Square in a shootout. Jia Mein fails a Soul Blast against me, goes home (taking Mirror, Mirror with him). I then pull 2 jokers and straight flush his 2 pair. That wins me the game.

3rd game against Morgan. Turn one I have a Point Blank in my hand, and dump everyone into Town Square. He responds by trying to Mario Crane me, however my draw hand is good enough to kill him without needing the Point Blank. Game quickly swings in my favour.

Final game will be decisive, the other Oddities deck hasn't lost yet. If I win, I win, if I lose, he wins. Again chess happens, I run away from a number of shootouts, to get his dudes booted out. I drop The Whateley Estate, he moves in (booted) his only movable influence, Jake Smiley 'takes' it back for control point purposes, and I win :)

It was a better day than I expected, I wasn't sure that a bicycle tourney was going to work, but it was enjoyable :) The card pool really isn't there yet for bicycle to really flourish, but was good fun.

Yet another tourney (my 4th) that I've won that isn't going to be in the rankings grrrrr :D
