TheJudge 28

This deck is fast and enables you to start by taking out your opponent's main character in the first round. Use Andrew Burton to put a bounty on the character of your choosing and start a job with the Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1) to administer justice. If you're able to discard the dude, boot Gomorra Jail to start raking in CP's.

The main goal of this deck is to distribute bounties by using your Law Dogs faction ability and the indispensable The Evidence and taking out dudes one by one. If shooting is not an option, you can park Steven Wiles or Bobo in a deed and take control. After that you boot your dude to give one of your opponent's dude a bounty. Next turn, your Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1), SWAT-team Gunslinger and reinforcements can raid whatever place the scoundrel's hiding. I found it helps when you make a police siren sound every time you do a raid with your judge :)

Because Tommy Harden is in your starting posse and you have a load of anti-cheating cards, it will be difficult to cheat against you. The Stakes Just Rose gives the movement of your dudes some flexibility. And you might be able to surprise your opponent by playing a Rumors or a last-minute Stagecoach Office for just one gold.

I've been playing succesfully with this deck for 4 months. Scored a shared 1st place in OP kit tournament in Groningen, march 2016.

I've heard the judge was send on an early retirement while chasing down some Sloane gang thugs.

He got Pinned Down down in a nasty cheatin' situation. Fortunately, his backup Gunslinger, Tommy Harden and Andrew Burton managed to finish the job. The Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1) might be back for the occasional sidejob though. I don't think we've seen the last of him yet..

I run a similar deck I call Mandatory Sentencing, and use the same starting posse with 1 exception: I added Willa Mae MacGowan in case things go badly on that first job.

While a lot of fun to play, I've found decks built around Judge Harry Somerset (Exp.1) are high risk/high reward and that you can easily lose the game on turn 1. Having a "get out of jail free" card has been very helpful.

Thanks, Willa Mae MacGowan is a great addition. Will definitely add her once I get around to buying the expansion. And you're right, it's definitely a high risk/high reward kinda deck. The fact that you can wipe out a player in your first move / round (and the look on his face), makes the high risk worth it for me :)
