Start with 9 GR after winning low-ball, and 8 influence, if you slip Clementine Lepp into a Saloon and keep hold of Jake Smiley.

12 deeds can be safely dropped with the Morgan Cattle Co. outfit ability: the five 'saloons', the four 'out of town' deeds, The Pharmacy,Railroad Station and Surveyor's Office.

Look to put down as many deeds as you can manage each round. You don't really care if you lose a dude to a job or shoot out. Just keep buying those cheap dudes with influence as you need to. Avoid playing 2 CP deeds too early.

Play Rumors on camping and stranded opposing dudes, and Make the Smart Choice when called out booted, after putting down deeds cheaply with your outfit ability, or after drawing opposing dudes back off your deeds to defend their own. Pistol Whip to protect against jobs attacking you at home, and even to judiciously clear deeds.

Very good build. I find the Town Council to be very useful in having cut price deeds, especially building Saloons with Clementine Lepp. No Cheatin cards?

Yeah, no cheatin punishment in my small allocation to actions. I don't care about keeping my opposition honest in shootouts I'm not going to win anyway. They also generally know they'll never need to cheat to beat me.

In fact, if I was to add more actions they would be booting actions via Too Much Attention rather than Coachwhip! as I don't want to rely on low-ball cheatin from my opposition to boot opposing dudes like Allie or Leon

I'm finding the chances of opposing dudes being wanted/having control points in my games to be higher. Maybe even more so with the new Desolation Row outfit coming ...

Seems like a really solid Dudes and Deeds deck. I do think Coachwhip! would be really helpful in the deck but I agree that there's just not room in it and the rest of the Clubs take precedent.

Yes, I often go down to 8 Actions: 4 x Make the Smart Choice and 4 x Rumors, against 4R and Morgan as I don't anticipate much use of Bounty Hunter, Kidnappin' or Ambush.

Nice deck!

Could you please argue your dude choice. I do not understand Marion, Dulf and Lawrence choice. Why you restrict yourself with only single Steven Wiles? Why do not use Archer over Marion for example?

They all initially cost less than Archer, even if their upkeep ends up being more. This can be important as spending 3 rather 5 and putting another deed down is often more crucial in getting to the win state. Also if I lose them to a kidnappin or ambush job I don't care as much. And in the mid game when I have the opposition trying to camp on all my deeds, before I pull away towards the end, I find I often need to put some quick and cheap (and not necessarily long lasting) influence down. I also generally find that getting more and more deeds down (by not paying much for the odd dude that comes up) enables me to then pay the upkeep of these dudes without much of a problem. This deck does not shoot, so Steven could be aced and then not be able to be put down a second time.
