This should be an update version of my Law Dogs deck.
- Tightened up the draw
- Tried to balance out the deck by adding cheaper dudes
Again, would appreciate input.
This looks like a big step forward from your last list. It seems like you now have access to Faith and Fear (based on your inclusion of This'll Hurt in the Mornin'), which opens up some options for you. I would recommend finding room for Pettigrew's Pawnshop and Faster on the Draw, and swap out of some of those 1 ofs for more consistency. You are very close to having a decent shot at making straight flushes in addition to your strong values on A and 2 for full houses.
You could try something like this:
+1 Pettigrew's Pawnshop, +1 Gomorra Parish, +2 Faster on the Draw, +1 Coachwhip!, +1 Sun in Yer Eyes, +1 Bottom Dealin', +1 Hiding in the Shadows
-2 Reserves, -1 Rumors, -1 This'll Hurt in the Mornin', -1 Railroad Station, -1 Eve Henry, -1 Androcles Brocklehurst, -1 War Paint
It looks like you cut Bounty Hunter, were you not satisfied with that card? Many players considered it one of the premier reasons to play Law Dogs at all until the card pool grew considerably.
Seconding the excellent suggestions above, particularly Bottom Dealin' for a bit more cheatin' punishment and Bounty Hunter being worth a second look to force fights. Maybe 1x Pat's Perch instead of Jackson's Strike as the former is on value? Also think they're good for tightening the draw structure slightly, but appreciate that this is to some extent meta/personal preference dependent! :)
Also wondered if a second Yan Li's Tailoring might be worth considering? It's on value for your draw structure and is very efficient production plus an ability that works well with your home. Similarly, Shotgun is expensive but is on value with a number of your existing choices.
Abram Grothe seems like a straight upgrade over Clint Ramsey if you decide to add Faster on the Draw or anything else that interacts with bounty.
Are you sure you want to delete this decklist?
