Full Moon Brotherhood Deck which took 3rd place at Edinburgh's Jonah's Alliance event.
The deck started as a bit of thematic idea to combine the Malison with the FMB home ability and Black Owl to stack up the picking on a particular dude and gain a significant benefit when they were killed. Other than that its a fairly regulation hex shootout deck with Curse of Failure in to force shootouts when someone doesn't want to come out to play.
Combo-ing Malison and Twilight Is Upon Us was really great in shootouts, even when TIUS gave a bonus to my opponent it was definitely worth it. Malison giving your posse bullets which can't be turned off and aren't attributed to a particular shooter was what drew me to the hex in the first place.

I could have gone with either home, I went with the ability to turn off traits which can help massively against decks running the likes of Clem, Jen, Nick Kramer and Jake.. I did get to overlay Val Experienced a couple of times, she was in there to combat hand rank manipulation decks (force field, CTC etc) and came in handy a couple of times. |

Congratulations on your third place finish and grand to see you again! Enjoyed the tournament games we managed to play and the accompanying casual game. Pleased to see Mark of Pestilence, which was useful for turning off my Point Blank and Pistol Whip. Solid starting posse too - no upkeep, two studs, multiple Hucksters and some strong abilities from Black Owl and Theo Whateley-Boyer. Twilight Is Upon Us was useful for turning off opposing headlines as well as being good in its own right. Solid stuff, to the extent that I'm struggling a little to suggest useful tweaks/improvements but interested in any ideas on what worked well/didn't work well. Part of me wonders if Scattergun is worth including given the popularity of sidekicks in the current environment? Admittedly your existing 9H options are good choices. Can confirm Valeria Batten (Exp.1) stymied some Calling The Cavalry action. |

I think I'd make a few minor tweaks, probably ditch Recruitment Drive for another Unprepared. I also don't think I needed all of the cheating res I had, as much as Ranger's Bible was great for the extra influence and works nicely with J-Dubs (J.W. Byrne) I didn't use it much and Jael's Guile with Mark of Pestilence is a more useful combo. Phantasm might get swapped for Scattergun to combat the Sidekick meta, not sure.. I'd like to find some way to add a couple of Forget at the expense of 1 Malison and something else too. |

What's the plan for Freddy - keep for shooting, sacrifice (for a Malisson?), or a bit of both depending on the matchup? |

I played against Hehasmoments three times in the event (Swiss, semi-final and socially) and Funtime Freddy was never aced to fetch a spell, and I got the impression from chatting with my opponent that this was his normal plan. As with the eventual winner (also running Freddy) the plan was to use him as a cheap, Stud huckster. :) |
Why not The Fourth Ring? Especially as you could actively trigger the home to generate from nothing the cost requisite Twilight Is Upon Us?
Secondly, did you ever get to experience Valeria Batten into Valeria Batten (Exp.1)? Was it worth it to then have a floating 4?
Cool deck.
