An offshoot of Sloaneslide Job Rush! 8x16 and 5x14 structure, with 2 jokers.

Standard starting posse are the dudes factored in the deck, with Barton Everest potentially replacing Travis Moone or Lawrence Blackwood, against fellow Sloane Gang users, or other decks focused on shooting.

The deck still functions via laying down locations and collecting control points through Allie Hensman and jobs such as Establishin' Who's in Charge and Meet The New Boss. Meet The New Boss is particularly fantastic, as it not only grants control and influence, but thins the deck as well. Allie Hensman, coupled with the home ability, is usually fast enough to establish pressure against most decks.

Though a little slower than the original deck, this iteration gives more emphasis in being able to shoot well in order to protect your control points, with Pistol Whip to take care of nasty studs, Unprepared against pesky casters and a number of cheat punishes via Quickdraw Handgun and This’ll Hurt in the Mornin’. This’ll Hurt in the Mornin’ is of special mention as it can be used even during lowball to achieve a winning hand, or to get rid of a pesky card.

Deed-wise, most deeds are cheap 2 ghost rock plots of land to allow for fast prospecting.

Pearl-handled Revolver allows for more shooting power, while that single piece of The Evidence can be replaced with the former card if Desolation Row isn't predominant in your community.

As for dudes, all reserves have influence in order to counter your opponent's control. Silas Aims is an exception in order to counter California Tax Office. With a starting ghost rock of 6 and 2 income per turn, Milt Clemons, Steven Wiles, Barton Everest and Pancho Castillo act as affordable shooters should Angélica Espinosa be riddled with bullets early.

Only 3 strarting influence? Seems crazy risky! I guess you have enough money to buy a dude immediately, and Meet The New Boss helps somewhat, but still... And so few Recruitment Drives, I felt like this was the best card in the original deck...

You took Travis over Clem, do you look for something particular in your opening hand?

@mplainTravis Moone is there for versatility. For most part, a good opening hand is shootout actions with a deed, and Allie Hensman and the home ability handles the rest. Against a starting posse which would indicate a deed slide, everyone's best friend fetches dudes instead. If you know you're facing a deed heavy deck prior to play, Travis can be swapped for Marion Seville. Should things go sourly due to opposing deeds, Angélica Espinosa can provided safety for shootouts while Lawrence Blackwood's standard job is to camp and cap.

As for Recruitment Drive, the fact that it, together with Meet The New Boss both rely on an uncontested town square usually makes it a little harder to play than Establishin' Who's in Charge. I frankly would've included more for each job, but our local meta is AGGRO defined, and more games are won by stability for shootouts as opposed to sudden control gain. I did however, include one more copy of Meet The New Boss over Recruitment Drive simply because it provides both control and influence, as opposed to just one or the other.

How does Silas Aims counter California Tax Office?

@tbowers13 Silas Aims has 0 upkeep as opposed to Steven Wiles. Should California Tax Office be up and ready, you'll need 7 ghost rock to hire Steven should you need an extra dude while you'll only need 2 for Silas. True Silas doesn't shoot as well as Steven but that's why there's still 2 Stevens in the deck, with Silas acting as an extra buffer in a pinch.
